Do you own a Vacation Rental here in Plumas County?
Then this post is for you!

Did you know that Plumas County requires all rental homes that turnover more than once every 30 days to register for Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT)?

It was sadly estimated that over 300 homes in Plumas were operating without proper registration.
Once properly registered through the Treasurer, you can post your lisence on-site so guests know the legitimacy of your business.

In an effort to ensure legal status among the homes we service, we will require TOT verification in order to book any Vacation Rental Turnover Services.

On July 13, 2010, the Plumas County Board of Supervisors passed and adopted Ordinance No. 2010-1074, relating to Business Licenses and Itinerant Vendors.

We are so saddened by the new that Gumbas and Village Bakery has burned down. Our condolences are with the families and staff who feel this loss the most right now.
