About Us

Founded in 2001, Domestica LLC is Portland's first environmentally-friendly residential and commercial cleaning company. We are proud to be a woman owned-and-operated business and a pioneer and leader in green cleaning for the Portland Metro area. We are committed to providing a professional and socially responsible cleaning service using environmentally safe, non-toxic products and paying living wages to our employees.

What We Offer
⭐ Flexible Schedule | Weekdays, Evenings & Weekend shifts available
⭐ Competitive Pay Scale | $17.00/hr (training wage) - $22.00/hr
⭐ Accrued PTO for everyone, regardless of full-time or part-time employment

⭐ W-2 employee position (not contracted) | We pay all applicable employment taxes,

Medicare and unemployment benefits and you will be covered by workers' compensation insurance

⭐ Tax-free mileage reimbursement (.54 cents per mile) and paid travel time between the office and jobs

What You Offer

⭐ All applicants must be 18 or older

Position Details
⭐ Evening and weekend availability is a huge plus!
⭐ This is a non-smoking workplace during all working hours
⭐ Previous cleaning experience is preferred, of course, but not necessary!

⭐ Weekdays - Monday-Friday, starting at 8:30 a.m. and usually finishing between
1-3pm but could finish as late as 5pm.

⭐ Weekends - Saturdays and/or Sundays, 5-6 hours per shift, flexible start time.
⭐ Evenings - Combination of Mondays-Thursdays - 4-hour shift starting any time after 6pm.

Compensation Details
This is a part-time position, ranging from 20-30 hours per week.

$17.00 per hour for the first 200 hours (Equal to approx. 2.5 months of P/T work)

$19.00 + $200 bonus per hour after 200 hours (Equal to approx. 5 months of P/T work)

$22.00 after 1000 hours (Equal to approx. 1 year of P/T work)

Supplemental Compensation:
Tips and holiday bonuses!

Autumn in Portland is one of the most beautiful times of year and Domestica can help you get ready to get cozy with these tips:
⭐ ️In the Kitchen & Bathroom:
• Clean your kitchen & bathroom grout
• Clean under refrigerator & coils
• Clean oven interior
• Clean & condition the wood of cabinets
⭐ ️In the Bedrooms:
• Switch out seasonal clothes
• Vacuum and flip mattresses (some even have a 'winter' side)
• Change to cold-weather linens
• Clean bedding that is not usually washed (pillows, duvets, etc.)
⭐ ️In the Living Areas
• Vacuum upholstered furniture & cushions (underneath, too!)
• Dust plant leaves (and wipe down artificial ones)
• Wipe down keyboards, TV screens & remote controls
• Polish furniture
️⭐️ Around Your Home
• Clean and polish wood floors
• Change (or clean) HVAC and vacuum filters
• Vacuum under beds and other furniture
• Wash blinds and curtains (or have them cleaned)
• Rinse and remove windows screens
