Portland Textile Month is upon us! Grateful to be present for Bridgette Hickey's Seed to Quilt presentation at PNCA this week. Her creative methods explore the process of using plants from our natural world to creative vivid dyes. Specifically using indigo, hibiscus and marigold to connect to how people of the past used the same techniques. Stunning work and amazing story about connection and place!
