Yes — electric vehicles can safely go through modern car washes like Motor City Suds ⚡🚙

We’ve had a lot of questions about EVs, especially with vehicles like the Hummer EV, Teslas, Rivians, and other electric models becoming more common.

The good news? Modern EVs are designed to handle rain, water, and commercial car washes safely. Our wash uses soft materials, advanced equipment, and a controlled conveyor system designed to safely clean today’s vehicles — including electric ones.

As always, we recommend following your manufacturer’s guidance for car washes and making sure your vehicle is placed in the proper car wash mode if required.
