That’s a wrap on the 2026 WWA Show in Las Vegas! 🌊

"Which pool finish lasts the longest?" - it's the most Googled pool question of 2026. Here's the honest answer. 👇

Two of the hottest tile trends of 2026 are also two of the most demanding to install correctly. Here's what every contractor needs to know 👇:

Large format tiles and glass mosaics are dominating pool surrounds, spa walls, and outdoor living spaces this year- and for good reason. The seamless architectural lines of an oversized tile. The iridescent shimmer of glass mosaic at the waterline. These are the installations that make portfolios and win referrals.

But here's what doesn't make the inspiration photos:

Large format tiles are heavier, more demanding to set, and far less forgiving of the wrong mortar. Standard thin-set fails under the weight and movement stress they create.

Glass mosaic tile requires a white-bodied, non-slump mortar specifically formulated for glass- or you end up with show-through and an inconsistent finish that ruins the entire installation.
