It is with mixed emotions that we announce that Valet Garment Care Center will be closing its doors this month as Jim begins his well-earned retirement.
While we had hoped someone would continue serving the community through Valet, that was not possible at this time. We are no longer able to take in new work and will need to return all garments currently in our care over the next two weeks as we wind down operations.
For more than 20 years, Valet has been much more than a business to our family. Jim has had the privilege of serving not just customers, but friends. You've shared your lives, your families, and your stories with us, and we are truly grateful for the relationships built along the way.
Valet has always been a family business. Nearly every member of the Jasterzenski family has spent time at or behind the counter, and many of our family friends have helped along the way as well. Their support, dedication, and friendship have been a special part of Valet's story.
It has been a joy and an honor to serve this community and to be part of it.
If you have garments ready for pickup, please stop by within the next two weeks so we can return them to you before closing. And even if you don't have clothes waiting for you, we'd love to see you one last time. Please stop in and say hello or simply "see you soon."
Thank you for your business, but even more importantly, thank you for your friendship. Jim will miss seeing you all, and he hopes you'll keep in touch.
