At Scrub Hub, we show up, we do the work, and we deliver the level of clean our clients expect every single time. In return, we expect our policies to be respected as such.

Our 24-hour payment policy is not new. It has always been in place and will be enforced moving forward.

Due to issues over the last month, this is a reminder that payment must be submitted within 24 hours of completed services. Failure to do so may result in late fees and/or suspension of future bookings.

🧽 Tuesday Tips: Cleaning Safety Edition 🧽

Mixing cleaning products without knowing the reaction can be ineffective—or dangerous. Here are a few common combos to never mix:

🚫 Bleach + Anything
Bleach should always be used alone. Mixing it with other cleaners can release toxic gases that are extremely harmful to breathe. This includes vinegar, alcohol, and many household cleaners.

🚫 Bleach + Ammonia
This is one of the most dangerous combinations. When mixed, they create toxic chloramine gases that can cause breathing problems, chest pain, and serious injury—even in small amounts.

🚫 Peroxide + Rubbing Alcohol
These should never be combined. Together, they can create hazardous compounds that may cause chemical reactions, surface damage, or serious safety risks.

🫧 Vinegar + Dish Soap (Dawn)
Despite the hype, this isn’t a “magic cleaner.”
• Vinegar is acidic
• Dish soap is alkaline

When mixed, they neutralize each other—making the solution far less effective than using either product on its own.

✅ Pro Cleaning Tip:
More products ≠ better results. Most cleaners are already formulated to work safely and effectively as-is.
