Cleaning post of the week: Bedroom clean up.
Some of you might remember the client I did a few months back, who was diagnosed with cancer and has had difficulty taking care of his Apartment, especially since he was hospitalized. I was finally able to get back to finish his bedroom. The before and after's will astonish you.
I was on a time crunch and I was not able to finish everything I wanted too - but what was finished was a huge accomplishment.
He has trouble bending over to pick things up - so I purchased some grabbers for him from the dollar store.
You can actually walk around the room now - before you couldn't set a foot in it without stepping on trash - I consider that a win!

Cleaning post of the week: Part 2 of the Move-Out Clean.

These pictures are just the fridge - it was a challenging one for me this time. Something exploded inside it all running down the back wall- it might have been jelly or something, b/c it had been dry for a long time, it was super sticky and didn't just scrape off easily. I had to scrub and scrub with lots of friction to get it off. Alas - the fridge looks brand new again!
This took me over an hour to clean! I took it all apart!

Organizing post of the week: Laundry! Laundry!! Laundry!!!

Does doing laundry and putting it away drive you crazy? This client had intentions of doing it, but her days kept getting away from her - until she asked for help! Laundry does take time, especially if it keeps piling up.
What's the secret to doing laundry and keeping up, when you have a family, and kids - and you're always running from thing to thing? I don't have an answer! Just asking what do you do?

For me personally - I am one person - I keep up easily.
However, when I'm with my boyfriend and his girls - we have a laundry party every weekend - and we just keep up with it - do it, fold it and put it away!
