Took advantage of the nice weather to pick up litter around the Mount. I hope others (who are able) feel motivated to do the same. There’s a lot around since the melt. It takes continued effort from all of us to keep the streets and sidewalks clean (especially with our hills and wind), but the effort is always worth it.

Due to the impacts of the recent snowstorm, there will be no collection on Tuesday. All refuse and recycling collections are now delayed a total of two days.

Our Environmental Services team will work through the weekend for collections. We expect that normal schedules will resume on Monday, February 2, 2026.

Hi, neighbors. I’m only doing snow removal/salting for senior or disabled customers this season. My weather days are pretty booked. If you can wait until later in the day to have your snow removed and are senior or disabled, I have room for 1, maybe 2 more, average-sized drive/walkways on the Mount.
Last year, I learned I get pretty wiped out from shoveling back-to-back, so I chose to narrow it down the fairest way I could. Thanks for understanding. Stay warm and drive safely!

I try to schedule for dry, not-so-windy days. Due to time constraints, I’m only offering this to 15211 neighbors.

A reminder that routine scooping is year-round. Services pause when there’s a few inches or more of snow (or icy conditions), then resumes once it melts enough to be able to see the ground / walk safely. Every winter is different, so it’s hard to tell when a pause will be, or how long it would last. I will keep customers aware.
