Have you been curious about COVID-19 and animals? With some reports of cats and dogs being infected we certainly have been.

The CDC has said, "We are still learning about this virus, but it appears that it can spread from people to animals in some situations." The CDC also states, "At this time, there is no evidence that animals play a significant role in spreading the virus that causes COVID-19. Based on the limited information available to date, the risk of animals spreading COVID-19 to people is considered to be low."

Relieved? So are we, but that isn't stopping us from taking precautions with our furry little loved ones. After all, while the risk of spreading COVID-19 from pet to owner is low, it is still possible for pets to become infected. While pets may want to interact with strangers, the CDC recommends having pets socially distance with their households. If someone in the household falls ill, they should quarantine away from pets.

The good news is this, of the animals that have been reported to have COVID-19 most only became mildly ill, and made a full recovery.

Paper towels VS Microfiber cloths, which are better?

Paper towels are an easy go-to for cleaning up, used for everything from spills, to drying hands, to wiping down surfaces, but are they really the best?

We prefer microfiber cloths and here are a few reasons why:

1) Absorbency. Microfiber cloths are better at absorbing spills and pulling up dust than paper towels are.

2) Less waste. Microfibers can be washed and reused multiple times. That means less waste for everyone.

3) Cost. Microfiber cloths save money in the long run. With less paper towels being used and thrown in the trash, less will need to be bought on a regular basis.
