Remember the young woman I spoke about a few months ago that had called me from Boston really upset about her grandmother's house that was sold Stock and Barrel? She was hoping against all hope that somehow her grandmother and grandfather's letters from the war hadn't been thrown in a dumpster? Well here she is in the flesh completely ecstatic that she came and got much more than just letters! She took home quite a bit of family history. That right there those moments that leave me with that fuzzy warm tingling sensation...

Sometimes you have to admit you're just simply human. Sandra is taking a short break actually maybe a much-needed 4 to 6 week checkup from the neck up and to get things reorganized. Sometimes the phones ring faster then the tires on my truck can go round and round and I just have a hard time saying no to anyone that needs to help. Following through on the last couple of projects literally broke my tailbone for real and possibly my foot we still don't know yet and quite nearly my spirit. So time to take a deep breath look around gather the tribe and think about the next half of this year and how we can approach it better. Thank you everyone that is reached out with support and love it's all well met. More will be revealed stay tuned to This Bat Channel

Holy cow I can't believe the finished product from the Downingtown house that we did back in January and February. Wow that is just insane how much work they put into this house and how it came together so beautifully! If you scroll back on our Sandra Helping Hands page you will see what this property looked like when we first started cleaning it out! Talk about a transformation it's incredible! You never know how things you pick up and Salvage from one cleaning job can come in handy and help out a bunch on another cleaning job. I have a client who has clients that have a building up for sale and is really trying keep it in decent repair with the small budget they are allowed lotted by the actual owners they work for. This unit had a major roof leak they lost some tiles and so in order to help them save a few bucks and also give the apartment a little facelift I ended up actually hand painting every single tile in the ceiling LOL but you know what you have to make the best with the tools that you given right? So I took one 3 gallon can of popcorn ceiling paint mix it with a gallon of Kilz 3 cups of water and a pound and a half of sand and it was enough to do the entire living room dining room Den bathroom and kitchen ! I know our client is just just going to be floored when he sees the results. And now I get to lay my head down to rest knowing I made the best use of my resources creativity and good old-fashioned hard work and with that knowledge I will sleep well tonight !
