As a friendly reminder, if you have additional can or bags above your subscription level, you need to contact our office so we can let the drivers know you will have extra. This also holds true for bulk items. There is usually a small charge based on size/weight/compaction etc. If you are unsure of the subscription level that you signed up for, it will be listed on your monthly/quarterly invoices.
If you put extra items out and don’t call, our guys may leave them sit curbside. They are just doing their job as they are told. Your disapproval should not be taken out on the loader, the driver, or the office crew.
Recently, we’ve had several people not follow our policies and call us in a rude, belligerent and condescending way. Please note this will NOT be tolerated and your service will be terminated immediately. Please, just give us a call in a calm, pleasant tone and we will do out best to help you resolve the problem.
We may be garbage men, but we are human beings with families, friends and feelings and do not deserve to be spoken to in that way. We do not treat you as a lesser person and we do not expect to be treated that way either. We value each and everyone of our customers.
We are simply starting to enforce the rules, the same rules as any other trash company, in an effort to minimize costs to help neutralize the rising costs of the landfill while keeping the rates as low as possible for everyone.
