We asked the homeowner what they wanted us to do with them.
“Throw them back down there.”
So they there are- waiting to be discovered next pump out. 🪎

The sludge in this outlet side was as thick as the inlet. This is why we find and pump both sides.

We find all kinds of materials used to cover old septic tanks. Someone had laid a thin piece of sheet metal over the opening and buried it.

It took a while for this tank to be pumped uphill to the truck. The sweet owners let the kids use their fishing poles while big brother manned the hoses.

The truck had a piece broken on the inside of the tank.
The mechanic said it had to be cleaned out before they’d climb in there to work. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Thick sludge and rags can settle on the bottom of the tank and won’t come out when the trucks are emptied.
The boys took several hours and a lot of ingenuity and got it clean.
