We have kittens that need homes. There is a black male (neutered) and a black female (spayed) and a gray female (intact). We also have a black female cat (intact) and a striped male cat that could be caught & relocated to a barn or somewhere a working feral cat is wanted/needed. Thanks! 🐱

This summer, the U.S. National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a record number of excessive heat warnings for Louisiana. This declaration will allow the state to mobilize resources and aid those most affected. Louisiana Department of Health reports that the state has already exceeded the average number of annual heat-related emergency room visits. Additionally, drought conditions and a significant drop in the Mississippi River’s water level have added stress on water supplies and agriculture.

Please continue to take precautions when you are outside and check on neighbors who might need assistance.

It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of our name sake Mr. EJ Breaux this morning. He was a great husband, loving father & grandfather & great-grandfather as well as an awesome mentor. May he rest in peace.
