So proud of myself! Assembled new brood box and frames. I must admit I have been beekeeping for close to 4 years and haven't actually ever assembled boxes or frames. Now I cannot figure out why not. It is great and cheaper! I think I was a little intimidated by the thought, though I have no reason for that, considering since I was a little girl I was always in my grandfather's and father's workshop. I will chalk it up to being lazy. I purchased 5 deep and 5 medium boxes with frames unassembled last year and am now getting ready for my new-bees!!! Hoping to get to 5 hives by Autumn!!!

Thanks to Debi K for connecting me with Paula H. I was able to get my first swarm today. It was very awesome helping Paula save a swarm, and she let me take it home!!! Now I have 3 hives with the box I ordered coming in next week I will be up to 4!!!
