πΌ Pretty on the treeβ¦ not so pretty in your pool. πΌ
This is what palo verde blossoms look like after they've been sitting in a skimmer basket. Those little yellow flowers and needle-like leaves pack baskets tight, and when they're left there, they cause real problems:
π« Restricted water flow: your pump works harder to pull water through a clogged basket
π₯ Pump damage: a starved pump can overheat, burn out its motor, or crack its basket housing. That's a repair bill nobody wants.
π¦ Algae growth: poor circulation plus decaying plant matter adds phosphates and organic waste, which feeds algae fast in our Arizona heat
π§ͺ Chemical imbalance: rotting debris eats up your chlorine, so your water stays cloudy no matter how much you add
The fix is simple: empty the baskets every week. Skimmer and pump baskets are part of every B&C visit, so you can enjoy your trees (and your pool) without the headache.
