The Story Behind Stink Xtinct
Stink Xtinct Odor Solutions wasn’t created in a laboratory because we thought there might be a need for it. It was created because I saw the need firsthand, thousands of times.
Through my years owning and operating Doody Defense Pet Services, I’ve spent countless hours in thousands of backyards dealing with one of the biggest frustrations pet owners face: stubborn pet urine, bacteria, and odors that simply won’t go away.
We tried just about everything available over the counter. Sprays, cleaners, deodorizers, you name it. Most products would temporarily mask the smell, but they didn’t address the real problem.
I knew pet owners needed something better: something all-natural, non-toxic, safe around pets and families, and designed to neutralize odors, break down urine, and help eliminate odor-causing bacteria.
That’s why I began developing Stink Xtinct Odor Solutions in 2019.
It took nearly three years of development, testing, and real-world use to get the formula where I wanted it. What started as a solution for the pet odors we encountered every day in backyards has since become something much bigger.
Over the years, our customers began telling us about all the other ways they were using Stink Xtinct. People started using it indoors when shampooing carpets and cleaning household surfaces. Professional car detailers began using it on vehicle upholstery to tackle stubborn odors. These weren’t necessarily the uses we originally developed Stink Xtinct for, our customers discovered them. And the feedback and reviews have continued to show us just how versatile this product can be.
One thing we’ll always be is transparent. There is no magic product you spray once and never have pet odors again. If pets continue using the same area, new urine and bacteria are continually being introduced. Consistency matters. When Stink Xtinct is applied according to directions on a regular weekly basis, it helps keep those problem areas fresh and under control.
Stink Xtinct was born from years of real-world experience, not theory. Today, it’s being used in backyards, artificial turf, patios, kennels, carpets, homes, vehicles, and beyond.
