Lately, I’ve been specializing in move-in and move-out cleanings to better fit around my full-time schedule and limited availability. Here’s a recent move out clean completed just before the home was listed on the market. 🫧🪣🏠

Nevertheless, it’s a valuable reminder. I think people sometimes overlook that this is a legitimate business — one that supports livelihoods and pays monthly bills, not just a casual side hustle.

I do NOT pocket money from every invoice sent. Let me break this down for you if you’re thinking about hiring & shocked with pricing.

Things I HAVE to pay for in order for my businesses to operate:

-Cleaning Products
-Cleaning Equipment
-Business Insurance
-Website Domain
-QUARTERLY gross receipts taxes (which for me Q3 was ~$1,400)
-Accounting software
-Estimated federal taxes (~$850)

I charge what I feel is right & based on my knowledge. I’ve spent months figuring out a pricing system that works. ❤️

Please remember when reaching out for quotes. The bigger the home you have, the more you’re going to pay. That’s just facts.

I am now looking for someone to come clean my house and to do it right!!! 😑😑😑😡😡

I don't like to speak badly about anyone BUT the lady I currently have is always tired🤦🏼‍♀️ and gets distracted, goes off to pet the dog or do something else.

When she does the laundry, it takes her a few days because she forgets to take them out of the washer so she has to keep rewashing. If it's about ironing clothes, no way, she is not doing it! Instead, she puts them in the dryer 🙄 More than cleaning, she is always looking for what she can eat🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ and she does the work slowly (reluctantly) and moves from room to room without finishing. 😡

BTW!!! That lady is me! 😭🤣👏
