Beach Laundry is looking for an independent contractor who wants to operate their own Wash & Fold laundry service from inside our established laundromat.
This is an opportunity to operate a business without the expense of leasing a storefront, purchasing commercial laundry equipment, setting up a point-of-sale system, or developing the basic infrastructure from scratch.
Beach Laundry provides:
• An established laundromat facility
• Commercial washers and dryers
• A dedicated business website at MyBeachLaundry.com
• Business telephone service
• CleanCloud point-of-sale and order management system
• An existing location where customers can drop off and pick up laundry
• The infrastructure needed to operate a professional Wash & Fold service
The independent contractor operates the Wash & Fold business. You will be responsible for accepting customer orders, washing, drying, folding, packaging, communicating with customers, maintaining service quality, and operating the service during your established business hours.
Operating requirements:
• Open Monday through Saturday
• Maintain consistent, published hours
• Operate at least 4 hours each day
• Provide dependable customer service
• Maintain a clean and professional work area
• Properly process and track customer orders through CleanCloud
Compensation is based on revenue. The contractor receives 75% of Wash & Fold revenue and Beach Laundry receives 25%. The contractor also pays for the use of the washers and dryers used to process customer orders.
A $500 deposit is required.
This arrangement may be a good fit for someone who wants to build their own service business and is willing to personally operate it consistently. Your income potential will depend on the volume of business you develop and the quality and reliability of the service you provide.
