Fun fact from a new Midwest survey: cleaning stresses people out almost twice as much as cooking does before guests arrive! 😱🍽️

Nearly 8 in 10 of us have put off hosting because our home didn't feel "ready"… and with the holidays right around the corner, we don't want that to be you. 💚

Here's the secret: let the cooking stress be yours… and leave the cleaning to us. ✨ A deep clean before your first holiday get-together means guests walk into a fresh, sparkling home… and you walk into the party relaxed. 🧼🫧

We're fully insured and bonded, our background-checked team brings all the supplies and equipment, and every visit is backed by our 100% satisfaction guarantee. 💗

Serving Pella, Oskaloosa, Ottumwa and all of Marion, Mahaska and Wapello counties. 📍

So tell us honestly… what stresses you out most before company comes: the cleaning, the cooking, or the clutter? 😅👇

Send Mama Maids a message to get your pre-holiday deep clean on the schedule… dates are filling fast! 📅💕

Have you noticed green porch lights around town this week? 💚

It's Operation Green Light, and Iowa counties are asking homes and businesses to shine a green light from now through Veterans Day as a simple thank-you to the veterans in our communities.

One little bulb. One big message: we see you, and we're grateful.

We'd love to fill this page with green lights from Marion, Mahaska and Wapello counties 🙌 Snap a photo of your porch lit up green and drop it in the comments, and tag a neighbor who you know is a veteran or has one in the family.

And to every veteran around Pella, Oskaloosa, Ottumwa and beyond: thank you. Your service means more than words can say.

From our family at Mama Maids to yours 💚✨

Cold and flu season is here… and 32% of households change nothing about their cleaning. 😷 Let's not be that 32%.

Doorknobs, light switches, remotes: the germ hotspots everyone forgets get extra attention on our visits. We bring our own supplies, we're fully insured and bonded, and we back it with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. 💗

Poll time: which hotspot does your family forget most, doorknobs, light switches, remotes, or phones? 👇

Every detail counts when it comes to a truly inviting home. We recently completed a biweekly maintenance clean in Pella, making sure everything from the glass shower doors to the hardwood floors received proper attention.

Special care went into dusting the corner cabinet, polishing entryways, and refreshing main living areas—right down to using the central vacuum as requested. Bathrooms were sanitized, kitchen and dining chairs were moved for a deeper clean underneath, and only approved supplies were used for a safe, comfortable result.

It’s the small touches that keep a home feeling cared for. Let us know how we can bring this level of detail to your space.
