Team Wilson provides cleaning, restoration, construction, and large loss services nationwide.

We understand the stress and worry that comes with a fire or water damage and the disruption it causes your life and home or business. Our goal is to help minimize the interruption to your life and quickly make it "Like it never even happened."

Today is National First Responders Day, and in Alabama it is official.

Team Wilson worked to secure a proclamation from the Governor recognizing October 28th as National First Responders Day across our state. Benji and Sarah Wilson spent the morning in Times Square for the Roll Call of Heroes with the First Responders Children's Foundation, where SERVPRO was a proud sponsor.

Jon Stewart hosted, reading each honoree's story before their medal. One was a firefighter from Texas who was out on a boat with his twelve year old daughter on the Fourth of July when another boat capsized. He pulled three kids from the water and resuscitated two of them.

That is who this day is for. Our crews show up after the worst has already happened. Firefighters, police officers, and EMS show up while it is still happening.

To every first responder in Alabama and beyond, thank you.

Rob Gerchow, Ryan Vidischak, and Dante Graham from our Birmingham team spent yesterday on the grill at the Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce event.

Chambers do something most people never see. They put business owners in the same room as the people who can actually help them, they keep local dollars circulating locally, and they give small businesses a voice they would not have on their own. In towns like Leeds, that is not a nice extra. It is a lot of what holds the business community together.

Grateful to be part of it, and thank you to the Leeds Chamber for having us!

Isaias is now a Category 3 hurricane with 120 mph sustained winds, sitting about 90 miles south of Pensacola. Landfall is expected tonight between 8 and 11 PM, most likely along the western Florida Panhandle, and it could still be at major hurricane strength when it comes ashore.

Evacuation orders are in effect for several counties across the Florida Panhandle and south Alabama. A Hurricane Warning runs from just east of Biloxi through Mobile and Pensacola to Panama City and Mexico Beach. If you are in one of those areas and have not left, the window is closing. Conditions are already deteriorating.

Along the coast, expect life-threatening storm surge, damaging winds, flash flooding, and the potential for tornadoes across southeast Mississippi, southwest Alabama, and northwest Florida tonight.

Isaias weakens once it moves inland, but Birmingham and Tuscaloosa are still in the track Saturday. Secure what is outside, charge your phones, and stay weather-aware overnight.

When this passes and you need us, our teams are here. When you call, Team Wilson is on the way.

Hurricane Isaias could leave you with roof damage from high winds. Before tonight, take photos of your roof and your home while everything is still intact.

After the storm, photograph any damage before you touch it, and get a compromised roof covered quickly. A few missing shingles is a roof problem. Left alone, it becomes soaked insulation, stained ceilings, wet drywall, and growth in the attic. The wind stops in a few hours. Water keeps working for weeks.

Our Birmingham and Tuscaloosa teams handle roofing. Same crews, same trucks, already here. When you call, we are on the way.

Isaias is now a hurricane with sustained winds of 85 mph and is forecast to reach near 110 mph by Friday morning, just under major hurricane strength. Landfall is expected late Friday into early Saturday along the northern Gulf Coast.

A Hurricane Warning is in effect from Ocean Springs, Mississippi to the Bay and Gulf County line in Florida. A Storm Surge Warning now stretches from the mouth of the Mississippi River to the Suwannee River, with 5 to 7 feet of inundation forecast above normally dry ground, including Mobile Bay. If you are in a warning area and officials tell you to go, go now. Friday morning is too late.

The exact landfall point is still uncertain, and small shifts in the track make a big difference in who sees the worst winds. For Tuscaloosa and Birmingham, Saturday is still the day to plan around.

If you have not done it yet, photograph your home and belongings today. It takes ten minutes, and it matters when you file a claim.

If Isaias causes water, storm, or mold damage, SERVPRO Team Wilson is on the way, 24/7.

10/07/2026

Isaias is forecast to hit the Gulf Coast as a strong hurricane late Friday, then move right through west Alabama on Saturday.

Birmingham and Tuscaloosa: expect gusty winds, downed trees, power outages, and 1–3" of rain. Watch for tornado warnings.
Before Friday: photograph your home for insurance, clear your gutters, and charge your phones. Our full storm-ready checklist is in the graphic.

If Isaias causes water, storm, or mold damage, SERVPRO Team Wilson is on the way, 24/7.

Will Townsend and Rob Gerchow from our Birmingham business development team represented SERVPRO Team Wilson at the State of the Schools event hosted by The Shelby County Chamber today.

Schools are the center of gravity in most communities around here. What happens in them shapes everything else, from property values to where families choose to live to what the workforce looks like in ten years.

Good to hear directly from the people leading that work. Thank you to the Chamber for putting it together.

Grateful to be part of the 2nd Annual Vestavia Hills Fire Department Foundation Par 3 Tournament at Vestavia Country Club.

Will Townsend, our Director of Birmingham Business Development, represented our team out there. Events like this raise real money for the people who show up when someone's worst day is happening.

Our crews arrive after the fire is out. These men and women are the ones who go in while it is still burning. Thank you for your service, and thank you for letting us be part of this.

What a day to be at AT&T Stadium.

Keri Delgado, one of our Business Development reps in Dallas, brought a client partner out for the Cowboys win over Washington and got to watch Dak Prescott break the franchise touchdown record in person.

As the official restoration partner of the Dallas Cowboys, days like this are some of our favorite ways to say thank you to the people we work alongside. The relationships are what make this work, and time spent together outside of an emergency is time well spent.

Jesus didn't start his most famous sermon with a strategy. He started it with surrender.

Blessed are the poor in spirit. Empty yourself first. Then you have the opportunity to be filled with something greater than your own plans.

Brady Wilson connects that directly to the hero syndrome in Episode 056 of the Higher Up Podcast. A leader who walks into every room full of their own agenda has no room for the people they are supposed to be developing.

Start your day with surrender, not strategy. Empty yourself of the self-focus, the hero syndrome, all of it. Then lead from a full place.

How are you starting your day?
