As owners of Pekin Downtown Car Wash and Detail Center, we find it hard to say goodbye, but we will be closing our full-service car wash on March 29th, 2025.

We will still provide our professional auto detailing services, which we are excited to continue! This transition gives us the opportunity for more time with family and some travel during semi-retirement.

We want to extend our thanks to all our amazing customers and dedicated employees who have made 41 wonderful years in business possible!

We want to let you all know what is going on at the car wash. We are struggling with hiring and keeping employees! We had another walk off the job today, no notice just left! If you have a wait or we are closed that’s why! PLEASE if you know anyone that wants to work send them down to fill out an application. Thanks for your patience, you are very important to us!

As of 2/21 we will resume opening Monday - Friday 9-5 and Saturday 8-5. We will still monitor cars per hour which justifies hours of operation due to higher payroll and weather.

As of tomorrow 11/2 we will temporarily be closed on Sundays and Mondays. We will post when we return to regular hours. Thank you for your continued business!
