Update: 1/21/26– Trying to answer some comments here.
-Animal Charity picked him up and transported him to Med Vet. That is the kennel in their van. He had a blanket in there. He was quickly covered up after the picture was taken.
-The medical staff examined him and determined that if he survived the hypothermia, he had a high chance of losing his limbs from frostbite. He was suffering terribly. 
- Friends of Fido covered the cost of his medical care. No dog is ever turned away. Every Dog has a chance money is never an issue. They spend over $177,000 last year alone. They can only do what they do through public donations and fundraising. They manage to raise enough funds every year, no matter how great the cost. To those saying he wasn’t given a chance due to money this is very false. Please donate to friends of Fido so they can continue to help dogs like him. Donate in his memory.

Update: We had to let him go. Rest in peace sweet boy. 🙏💔

This dog was just picked up on West Avondale by Animal Charity . They took him directly to Med Vet thanks to Friends Of Fido MCDP.
He is very lethargic and likely is hypothermic. We will know more later. This is a disgrace. Heartbreaking.
