Been a while since we posted.

Just don't want the web spiders to put up a bunch of cobwebs in our webspace and lose our search engine presence.
It's almost as if us small business owners are caught in a slave like dependence on big tech and social media, even if our industry has nothing to do with computers and the social crap.
How the hell did we let that happen???

If you are always trying to load things that are too heavy I suggest you invest in a ramp. Not just any ramp though, make sure it's one that you don't break your neck trying to go up and down. Because that would defeat the purpose.

Not the normal deck restoration project, we are used to that's for certain. This was tough from the get-go. Supply chain issues, weather, and just staining with greys, in general, can be hard enough, plus having to remove that old stain, which was heavy, is a whole other monster.
The colors were intended to match the home's trim and gutter colors. After a few close fails, we finally got it, or close enough not to see a difference. The plan was for all grey but I thought trying to ty in the brick would not be a bad idea, and that's where the two-tone railing cane in.

But what do you all think????

As some pictures show progress was slow, but only because this wood is as dense as Iron, and often referred too as ironwood. But with denser wood you get beautiful grains. More pics to come.

Ipe wood is the gold standard of Hardwoods. It's part of the Exotic Brazilian hardwood class. This is the densest wood in the world, if you were to throw it in the water it would sink to the bottom go to say this job was an easy one would be a huge understatement. But to say this job wasn't a tremendous opportunity to expand my portfolio of knowledge, would be even more understated
Pictures do not give this wood it's due.

The pool/Outdoor space, of the year award, is given to the customer who has created the best looking, and most creative outdoor patio or pool area. I see quite a few backyards every year so I get to see a ton of different ideas and creations.

Just made sense to give out this award.

Without further adieu, I present this year's winner, The Hakim Family, and their beautiful poolscape and swim-up bar, w/hideaway dinner cove, and one of kind Hot tub and waterfall.

We want to thank all the contestants, this was extremely competitive with so many other wonderful scapes, but we had to make a decision.

We look forward to seeing all of you next year.
