Established in 2007, Lakes Area Laundry provides the Community of Paynesville and the surrounding area with a clean and affordable place to take care of your laundering needs. We offer onsite free Wireless Broadband Internet to customers, Energy efficient climate control, vending services, convenient Street and Lot parking, and 24-hour Video Surveillance. We are located 1/2 Block west of the Stoplight on old Highway 23 (Hoffman Street) in Downtown Paynesville.

Lakes Are Laundromat

We are pleased to announce that we will be installing new washers and dryers on Tuesday August 8, 2023. You will be able to wash clothes but not able to dry them. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Attention Lakes Area Laundromat Customers:

We will continue to operate as normal throughout the COVID 19 outbreak. We have been designated an “Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce” under the Governor’s most recent executive order. We will continue to do our best to serve you during this time!

We are open 7 days week- 6 am to 9 pm
Please do not feel the need to rush to the laundromat today. We will be open regular hours, so you can follow your normal routine.
Practice social distancing
Consider using hot water and extra rinses
Consider waiting in your car while your laundry is washing and drying
Consider folding at home
Give each other space
Please be kind to each other
Avoid coming in if your are sick or have a fever
Avoid bring in children who are sick or have a fever
Help us with cleaning and disinfecting your area with provided sanitizer and rags
Please put used rags in the designated washer only after using
