You charge $100 an hour?!
Not exactly…
Here’s what many people don’t realize:
When you hire a cleaning company, you’re not just paying for someone to wipe down counters.
You’re paying for:
🧽 Professional experience and attention to detail.
🧴 High-quality cleaning products and equipment.
🚗 Travel time to and from your home.
⛽ Fuel, vehicle maintenance, and insurance.
📋 Scheduling, estimates, and customer service.
🛡️ Business insurance, licensing, and taxes.
🧺 Laundry, supplies, and replacing worn-out equipment.
If two cleaners are at your home for 2 hours, that’s 4 labor hours, not 2. Those cleaners are also able to complete the work in half the time it would take one person, while still providing a thorough, high-quality clean.
For example:
• 1 cleaner × 4 hours = 4 labor hours
• 2 cleaners × 2 hours = 4 labor hours
I have 4-5 cleaners🙃
The price isn’t based on one person making “$100 an hour.” It’s based on the total labor required, the overhead of running a professional business, and delivering consistent, reliable results.
You’re investing in your time, your peace of mind, and a home that’s cleaned professionally—not just paying someone to clean for an hour.
