Over the past few months, I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting on both my business and my personal life. The truth is, I pushed myself too far. The workload became overwhelming, and I experienced a level of burnout that started to negatively impact not just my business, but my finances and personal well-being too.
Because of that, I’m making some important changes to ensure I can continue delivering the level of quality and consistency that my clients deserve without putting myself back in that position again.
Here’s what’s changing:
• We will no longer be prioritizing basic detailing services, basic hand washes, or interior-only details. These services are costly for us to provide at a low price point and don’t reflect the level of value and quality we aim to deliver. Moving forward, our focus will be on high-end, luxury detailing services.
• Memberships will no longer be offered. As a mobile business, no two commutes are the same, and in many cases, I’ve been losing money providing these services. Instead, we will offer maintenance detailing at a discounted rate for repeat clients who book within 3 months of their last full detail on the same vehicle.
(Current members: your plan will remain active and unchanged until it expires.)
• Pricing is firm moving forward. Our full detail starts at $250, and maintenance detailing is $185. This is non-negotiable. I take pride in my work and aim for perfection every time, and these prices reflect the time, effort, and quality I put into every job.
• Thursdays and Sundays will no longer be available for appointments. If those are the only days you’re available, I unfortunately won’t be able to service you.
• We invest heavily in advertising—anywhere from $500–$1000 per month, with each lead costing us $5–$12 on average. If you’re reaching out, please do so when you’re serious about booking. Repeated spam or time-wasting inquiries will result in being blocked.
• Starting May 1st, we will not be working past 3:30 PM due to rising temperatures and for overall safety. This allows me to maintain the quality of work while also protecting my health.
