Started from the bottom… and we’re still climbing. 💗🙌

People see Harbor Housekeeping today, but they don’t always know how it started.

One day Jan 2023 I was sitting at my job in my office reading through the new employee handbook that was just handed out and I realized something…

There was no benefits for the me… everything was literally for the business…

So I did something that very moment that scared the hell out of me. I called my husband and asked him if I could quit my job… he asked me what I planned on doing ? I said I have no idea… what am I good at!? What can I start myself ?! he said you’re really good at cleaning!

That’s all I needed to hear… I was done!

I quit that very moment, shut my laptop and turned in my key. ✌️😘

The very next day, Harbor Housekeeping was born.

No investors.
No fancy office.
No rich family backing me.
Just me and a $500 credit card, vacuum, steam mop, a whole lot of determination, and a girl who refused to settle for “good enough.”

I worked seven days a week. I studied, watched videos, did networking, promoted my business, cleaned houses, answered my own phone, did estimates, cried a few times because of the body pain 😂, celebrated the little wins, and just kept showing up.

One customer turned into two.
Two turned into ten.
Ten turned into a business.
A business turned into an incredible badass team of 8!
And now we’re serving hundreds of families every year.

Started from the bottom… and now we’re here.

And the craziest part?

We’re just getting warmed up.

I’m so incredibly thankful for every single customer who trusted me, every bad ass employee who’s helped build this company, every lesson that made me grow stronger, and every person who believed in me before there was much to believe in.

I’ll never forget where I came from because that’s what keeps me hungry.

Opening my business has changed my life, but more importantly, it showed me what can happen when you bet on yourself.
Because if this is what happened after saying “yes” to one scary decision…

I can’t wait to see what’s next. 💗✨
