How frequently should you be washing your car?

Generally it’s important to give it a good wash once every two weeks.

As you can imagine, the longer you let bird p**p, fallout, tree sap, road salt & bugs on your paint, the more damage it’s causing.

Regularly maintaining your vehicle not only enhances the driver experience but protects the condition & longevity.

Let’s face it cars are expensive and it’s important to protect our investments.

I used to buy vintage cars for a living.
Anything old and European.
Porsches, Austin Healeys, Bentleys, Ferraris in every condition you could imagine.
Old Porsches are my favorite.
I once bought the 89th 911Turbo ever made.

After 10 years I felt a bit under appreciated by the company I worked for and took the pandemic as an opportunity to reset, refresh and start working for myself and for my family.

Detailing is where it all started for me.
In 2009/2010 I was homeless/living in my car in LA and got a job as a helper for a mobile detailer.
During that time I made $50-$70 bucks a day and the guy I worked for was an as***le.

I landed a job at a classic car dealership in 2011 where I went from a detailer making minimum wage to a buyer making over $100K in a year.

Letting that job go was one of the scariest things I’ve ever done.

It’s crazy how things come full circle.
One lesson I learned is that there’s nothing like working for yourself.
I loved wearing a suit everyday with my own office but I love being outside sweating and bleeding more.
There’s nothing like carving out your own future on your own terms.

The ride isn’t always gonna be smooth but the destinations worth it 🤙🏼
