To all my followers, please take a moment and read this and help this beautiful family get justice for there son
Our family is asking our community for help.
Many of you know that our beloved Christian Romero was killed in a tragic and preventable car crash caused by a juvenile who stole a vehicle, drove recklessly at high speed, and ran a red light. Christian lost his life because of a series of deliberate, dangerous choices.
The State is currently seeking to charge this juvenile as an adult only under a youthful offender designation for vehicular manslaughter, which carries a maximum sentence of just 6.2 years. We must ask: what message does this send to other juveniles about accountability and the value of human life?
What makes this even more difficult is that since Christian’s death, this individual has continued to have run-ins with law enforcement:
* On 12/07/24, he was cited for being a spectator at a highway drag-racing event.
* On 5/11/25, he was cited for careless driving, resulting in another collision involving another person.
These continued actions show a troubling lack of regard for public safety and for the irreversible loss of life already caused.
State Attorney Monique Worrell was removed from office in 2023, in part due to concerns regarding leniency toward juvenile offenders. She was re-elected in 2025 after promising her community she would do better. We believe this case is an opportunity for her office to demonstrate accountability and leadership.
We are urging our family, friends, local business owners, city officials, and the entire Flagler County community to stand with us and help seek justice for Christian.
Please take a moment to email all three of the following officials together, respectfully urging them to hold this individual fully accountable. This juvenile made an adult decision — and adult decisions should carry adult consequences.

We are not seeking revenge — we are seeking justice, accountability, and change, so no other family has to endure this kind of loss.
Thank you for standing with us.
