We all love the rain this time of year 🌧️… but mosquitoes love it too. 🦟

Friendly PSA: After the rain passes, take a few minutes to dump any standing water around your home and yard. Things like buckets, flower pots, kids toys, tarps, old tires, and clogged gutters can quickly become mosquito breeding spots.

Standing water + warm weather = more mosquitoes. Help do your part to keep the mosquito population down and make your outdoor time a little more enjoyable this summer! ☀️

They are considered one of the deadliest animals in the world because they can carry and spread dangerous diseases through a single bite.

Mosquitoes have been linked to illnesses such as:
⚠️ West Nile Virus
⚠️ Malaria
⚠️ Zika Virus
⚠️ Dengue Fever
⚠️ Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE)

Standing water, warm temperatures, and humid weather create the perfect breeding ground for mosquitoes — and it only takes a small amount of water for them to multiply quickly.
