Gone but NEVER forgotten.

I remember this day.
I remember the feelings.
The videos and devastation.
The pain and sorrow felt by every American.

25 years ago to the day our Country suffered the unimaginable. Innocent lives were lost. Cries echoed.
I'll never forgot my dad was supposed to be on one of those planes but left a day or two early.

Sometimes it seems our Country has forgotten the impact of this day, too concerned with feelings and giving people the benefit of the doubt. I have a feeling it will happen again in our lifetime. Sadly.

May God bless our Country 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Some guests mentioned slow draining in the bathroom sink, so I went over this morning.

Took apart the ptrap and that wouldn't get the sink to drain, no clogs there. After a few minutes the pressure released and the sink catch popped up and I was able to pull it out and...ew 🤮🤢 the smell Y'all.

Anyways, good as new and on to some cleaning and outdoor property refresh jobs this morning with my honey 👩‍❤️‍👨

Recent project for our client here in Oxford 😏

Jordan took these loose, uneven granite steps

+ Filled and compacted a new base
+ put down a layer of hardware to deter the digging and prevent future damage
+ Reset and leveled the granite
+ Added fresh gravel to finish it off

July has been busy busy busy.

Very little time to post lately. Between all the mowing, projects, cleanings and life with our kiddos plus the "almost farm" 😁 finding time to share the work recently has been slacking.

27 cleanings so far
65 mows, probably more I'm forgetting 🤔
AC installs & Repairs
1 Bush hogging
2 bathroom shower updates
1 Curtain install
1 Brush estimate
3 cleaning estimates
1 pressure wash
2 drywall repairs
1 junk removal
1 loam and seed
1 fixed mirror install
4 propane refills
2 Bed frames installed

And a partridge in a pear tree 🤣
Actually... just kidding how about just some new ducks we picked up this week in a kiddie pool instead 🥰🦆

I am by no means bragging either. I just can't believe some days we make all this happen, and its quite literally the two of us with minimal help. That means kids are coming some days, most days. That means out til 1am and up at 6am.

That also means, things fall in the cracks sometimes. My phone wasn't working right (we replaced this week) and I completely missed a free mow I wanted to do for someone local. Didn't remember until today and boy did I feel like the biggest pile of 💩

Running a business is hard.
Keeping everyone happy is also hard some days.
But every single day we are giving 100% and when we mess up, we always give 110% to make it right.

Thankful and blessed to have the life I dreamed of years ago.
