Use multipurpose cleaning products to streamline your cleaning process. Keep things easy! I use just a Norwex cloth and water for the majority of cleaning. I also make a multipurpose cleaning spray with half a teaspoon of Norwex laundry detergent diluted in a spray bottle with water. I use it on carpet stains, showers, toilet bowls, etc., as well as for pretreating laundry stains.

Declutter before cleaning. Remove clutter to make cleaning more efficient and effective.
Honestly I think this is the hardest part about cleaning. Again start small. Find long term solutions; don't just keep shifting piles from one area to another. If you haven't used it in over one year 🗑️! (Or at least box it and store it out of sight!)

Tip Tuesday!
Often when you have new hardwood flooring installed or old flooring refinished, the contractor will say, "Only clean with Shaw, or Bona, or Swiffer, etc." The reason is they don't want you to saturate your wood. A better practice is to use only water with a microfiber mop which you can wring thoroughly. Your floors will look beautiful, won't need cleaning as often, and will be safer for kids and fur babies.
