Here are some recent findings from a camera inspection we performed for a home sale. Luckily, we caught these issues before they were passed on to the new homeowner. These are gaps in the joints between the chimney flue which need to be repaired before you can safely use the fireplace. If you are about to make a home purchase, make sure you have the fireplace and chimney inspected before these costly repairs become your problems.

Fireplace update. Gas line run, firebox repaired and painted, 24” Hargrove Cumberland char log set and Stoll custom glass doors. Homeowner had never used their fireplace up until now, we are grateful for the opportunity to get their fireplace repaired so they can enjoy it.

This has been a work in progress. Due to supply shortages in 2022 we installed an Enerzone 1.7 insert in hopes it would produce enough heat for a 2400 square foot ranch. It was able to keep up for the most part but my customer wanted to home a little warmer, so now that we don’t have a shortage any longer we opted to install the Enerzone 3.5 insert. Much bigger and it should really heat the home now. The 1.7 we removed has only had 1.5 seasons on it and my customer would like it sold, so if anyone is interested it is going to be a great deal.
