These guys are starting to come out. This is a honey bee. They are not trying to attack you or harm you. They are attracted to heat and scents (perfume, soap, flowers, sweets.) They will be sluggish and sporadic as we warm up. Pollinators make the world go round, so "bee" kind to them. Look for hovering when they fly, fuzzy bodies and non aggressive behavior to identify. This article is a little dated but great info on how to kickstart your lawn in the spring. Healthy lawns and lawn management are beneficial in working hand in hand to prevent as many pests(bugs) as possible. Some simple tips to help also include: no tall grasses if practical, no standing water(old tires, bins or anything around buildings and the yard that will hold stationary water), no rotting wood(old garden fences, flower beds with old wood chips, downed logs, old firewood) and no leaves or leaf piles(these are the worst for ticks to hide under).

Spring has sprung and with temperatures forecast to warm considerably in the next week, many do-it yourselfers or those simply looking for something to do outside their home will be venturing out into their lawns.

Happy almost spring!! As the weather prepares to turn towards sunshine and warmth(Yay!), bugs also start to become and issue(boo!!). That's where JJs comes in to save the day/season. We offer control of Mosquitos, Flea/tick, hornets, spiders, and several other crawling and flying insects. Most of you on this page can vouch for the service as our clientele keeps growing. We have another truck, more staff and expanding our services each year to keep with growing demand. This year we do have a price increase to help curve inflation and additional company cost. We are only increasing $5 a backpack and we can lock this price in for the next two years. We also will work with fixed income and customers that were just pulled up to "standard pricing." Our aim is to keep offering the best service at a reasonable price. We have a variety of payment options: PayPal, Venmo, Stripe, and Cash app, check and cash. Online or credit card payments will reflect a 3% charge. Prepaid services still receive half off 1 application. This year Dyreck will be taking over our daily operations and I will be the guy behind the desk, updating Facebook with news and helpful tips, billing and service calls/quotes. Even though our season has ended, the work has not. This is one of our major fundraisers to help our team. It's a great time and helps the soccer team keep money in the budget for future endeavors. The sign up sheet is at the bowling alley but u can contact me or the bowling alley to add ur team. We encourage the kids to bring their own teams as the kids do not pay the $25 fee. There is food and drink specials, 50/50 and a bunch of door prizes. First 12 teams get a spot. Even if you do not have a kid on the team, any and all participation is greatly appreciated. Go Owls!!
