We removed and replaced approximately 3,500 sq. ft. of deck boards, reinforced the existing deck support structure, and built 5 new sets of stairs—all while keeping the project moving safely and efficiently.

This wasn’t just a deck-board replacement. We addressed the structure underneath, strengthened the supports, and rebuilt the areas that needed attention so this deck is ready for years of use.

Day 5 and we’re done!

We removed and replaced approximately 3,500 sq. ft. of deck boards with brand-new treated lumber, reinforced the deck supports, and replaced 5 complete sets of stairs.

The difference is HUGE! This property has a completely remodeled deck that should provide the owners with another 20 years of enjoyment.

We’re especially proud that we were able to complete what could have been 7–14 days of work in just 5 business days. That’s exactly why families all over the lake call My Handyman LOZ.

Our 2026 summer season at the lake has been absolutely amazing—and we’re not finished yet! 🔥

This project involved rebuilding structural framing, installing new support beams and posts, constructing a brand-new staircase, and finishing it with modern aluminum railing. Every board was installed with safety, durability, and craftsmanship in mind.

Another beautiful Lake of the Ozarks home is one step closer to becoming exactly what our clients envisioned.

Over the past 7 days, our My Handyman LOZ team completed:

✅ Removed damaged and compromised cedar siding
✅ Installed new cedar siding and trim
✅ Installed new house wrap and weather barrier where needed
✅ Repaired damaged exterior wood components
✅ Completed extensive prep work including filling, sanding and caulking
✅ Applied two full coats of premium exterior paint using a beautiful two-color finish that completely transformed this lakefront property.

Next week we’ll be returning to install 6 brand-new windows and 2 sliding glass doors on the lake side of the home to complete the next phase of this renovation.
