What animals do rats kill?
Rats are opportunistic feeders, scavengers, and omnivorous. In short, they’ll eat virtually anything. They’re quite lazy animals by nature, and they know that humans will mean food in terms of trash, but that doesn’t mean they won’t hunt, chase, and kill animals for food. This can include animals that are even of an equal size — frogs, mice, smaller rats, small snakes, young turtles, lizards, crabs, fish, birds, small mammals, insects, birds eggs, and a lot more.
