LET’S TALK ABOUT IT THURSDAY 🧼😂

Okay… I’ll go first.

I freaking HATE doing dishes. 😂🍽️

Like… I will happily clean THREE bathrooms before you hand me a sink full of dishes.

Give me toilets.
Give me showers.
Give me floors.
Give me the funky bathroom smells. 😂

But pleaseeee don’t ask me to stand there elbow-m deep in somebody’s mystery sink water. 😭😂

And can we talk about the textures?! 🤢
The funky smells…
The food that has somehow become one with the plate…
The random soggy thing you weren’t expecting to touch…

NOPE. 😂

I don’t want to be showering while cleaning grossness at the same time. I need to know what kind of battle I’m walking into! 😂

🧽 CLEANING TIPS TUESDAY Round 2

🪟 TIP #1: Your windowsills are dirtier than they look.
They collect dust, pollen, pet hair, and all kinds of tiny nonsense. 😅 Give them a quick vacuum or wipe down when you’re already doing your windows.

🧹 TIP #2: Vacuum BEFORE you mop.
Seems obvious… until you mop first and end up pushing crumbs and hair around in little wet clumps. 😂
Vacuuming first gives your mop a much easier job.

🚿 TIP #3: Don’t wait until the shower looks dirty.
A quick wipe down after a shower can help prevent soap buildup and water spots from becoming a bigger job later. You don’t have to deep clean your shower every single time you use it!

✨ LITTLE REMINDER:
Cleaning a little bit consistently is SO much easier than waiting until the mess has reached the “I don’t even know where to start” stage. 😂

🧼✨ CLEANING TIPS TUESDAY! ✨🧼

Okay friends, we’re kicking off our very first Cleaning Tips Tuesday! 🥳

Every Tuesday we’ll drop a few simple cleaning tips that actually help nothing complicated, nothing requiring 47 different products, and definitely nothing that makes you want to throw your mop out the window. 😂

Here are 3 little things that can make a BIG difference: 👇🏼

🧽 1. Work from TOP to BOTTOM
Dusting? Start high and work your way down. That way, anything that falls gets cleaned up later instead of making you clean the same spot twice. 😉

🧼 2. Give your cleaner at least 2-3 minutes to WORK
Spray → immediately wipe → wonder why it didn’t clean? 😂
Most cleaners need a little contact time to actually break down dirt and grime. Spray your surface, move on to the next area for a minute, then come back and wipe.

🧹 3. Don’t forget the things you TOUCH the most!
Light switches, door handles, cabinet pulls, remote controls and appliance handles can get overlooked because they don’t look dirty…: but they are and could use a good wipe down/ sanitize

✨ BONUS TIP:
If cleaning feels overwhelming, don’t try to clean your entire house at once. Pick one room or one small area and get that win. Sometimes starting is the hardest part!

And remember…

A clean home doesn’t have to be PERFECT.
