Why does it cost so much to hire a cleaner? Why are there periodic price increases?

Of all the products to increase with inflation, household cleaning products rank pretty high. "[Since 2020] household cleaning products increased 28.69% and reached a new high in June 2026."

Some of the products we use have doubled in price since Honeysuckle started 4 years ago. Most have increased by 30-40%. And the prices have not finished going up.

I clean my personal couches every 3-6 months.
Every time, they end up with water like this.
We don't have pets. We don't wear outdoor shoes inside.
So, no...fabric surfaces are never clean!
