At one point, I had 10+ employees, managing schedules, clients, and operations every day.

Right now, I’m running two businesses at the same time, and I still clean sometimes.

Why?

Because I actually enjoy it.

Cleaning is how I started, and I never lost respect for the work.

But here’s what experience taught me:

The real difference between a stressful business and a scalable one isn’t whether you clean…

There was a time when I was making about $10,000 per month with no employees.

Later, with a team and better systems, the business grew to around $32,000 per month.

The growth didn’t just come from hiring people.

It came from structure.

Too many cleaning jobs don’t get lost on price… they get lost because we don’t follow up (or we follow up too late).

Here’s my simple 3-step follow-up system that brings people back 👇

1️⃣ 1 hour after you send the quote (text or email):

“Hey [Name] — it’s [My Name] with [My Company]. I just sent your quote. Want me to lock in a time on the schedule, or do you have any questions before you decide?”

2️⃣ Next day (text or email):

“Quick check-in — would you like the Standard option or the Deep Clean option? If you tell me your preferred start date, I’ll reserve your best spot.”

3️⃣ 3 days later (final touch):

“Totally fine either way — I’m closing out this week’s schedule. If you still want it, reply YES, and I’ll hold the best available time for you.”

✅ Why this works: it’s polite, clear, and gives the client an easy next step—without being pushy.
