It's Spring! Which means it's almost time to open those pool's! YAY! Always an EXCITING time!
With that being said. I wanted to let everyone know, I will only be working Part-Time with very limited openings (pool services) this pool season. I do have a few spots open for availability but spots are filling fast. (Call for your free estimate today!)

Pool Tip Tuesday:

Always remember when you get algae in your pool that it is VERY important to clean and sanitize anything that has been in your pool. One being the stairs. Algae loves stairs and pool mats. Algae also loves floats, life jackets and swimming suits.

If you happen to get Algae you will want to take your stairs out, mats out, floats out or anything in contact with it. As it could reintroduce the Algae back into a clean pool. Sanitize, bleach (what you are able too) to kill it off. The smallest piece can turn into a full algae bloom!

Tip Of The Day:
Always make sure your pool pump (basket) is clean from debri.(That PVC shut off works AMAZING for cleaning the pump.) You will also want to make sure you have little to no air bubbles in the pump. Small amount of air is normal. But a large amount of air can indicate other problems.
Air in the pump can cause inefficient filtration and circulation, damage the pump motor, and overheat the motor.
If you have to much air in your pump give me a call. I would be happy to come take a look!

●HAVE YOU MADE THE SWITCH YET?●

I did a beneficial change out yesterday for a customer! A PVC Ball Value AKA the Shut off! If you do not have one. You might not realize how EASY this piece of equipment can make your life in the pool world.

Have you ever got air in your pump? When you have to much air in your pump your equipment will NOT run as efficiently and effectively as it should. It is VERY hard on your equipment. Along with it keeps your pool from staying CRYSTAL CLEAR!

But if you have tried to add water to the pump with out a PVC shut off. (Even if you close the filter.) You know that a massive flood, "shower" is in store! Don't let that be you!!!

PVC Ball Vales provide a water-tight seal using a ball to restrict or allow the flow of water. Ball valves are recognized for speed and efficiency. They’re a great option for emergency shut-offs as well.

PVC valves are durable, cost-effective, and used for a wide variety of pool piping!
