This carpet wrinkled badly during and after the cleaning. About 1/100 carpets will do this. Typically it is a carpet that has a softback secondary backing. These carpets are the best quality, in my opinion as a flooring mechanic. Although it looks unsightly all wrinkled up, it will lay flat again as it dries. It is a bit scary seeing it like this, but we always have open communication with the customer. I have yet to be called back to say it was still wrinkled.

A night and day difference on this commercial carpet

Life is a series of transitions, and today we're discussing the tile kind. On the left, you see how the tile person left it, with visible edges. On the right, it's how we prefer them: neat and seamless. I get called in to elevate the look by ramping under the carpet to hide that profile of the tile. This is a safer, more professional look.
