Milnor dealer Horwath Laundry Equipment, based out of Omaha, NE, recently replaced this 1973 Milnor washer-extractor with a brand new model. This machine served its customer for 50 years - the definition of Milnor durability!

Description: Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues on washers, dryers, ironers, folders, feeders, stackers, conveyors and presses. Provide service and repair to machines with oil, steam, gas, air, water and electrical operating systems.

Principal Responsibilities:
• Drive long distances to and from facilities.
• Use basic hand tools, specialty tools, multi-meters, manometers and testers for troubleshooting.
• Interact with customers to help and explain issues with machines.
• Reading schematics and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work in confined or tight spaces in hot or cold environments.
• Ability to work alone and with others.
• Ability to work overtime and overnights out of town when need be.
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs, push or pull heavy equipment.
• Complete work documentation on an iPad.

Here is an article from a couple of years back. The founder's son, Rudy was staying at Brookstone Village for rehabilitation and stopped in the laundry room that he installed almost 20 years ago on his last day there. The same equipment is still running.
