Ultrasonic Cleaning For a Solvent-Free World

Midwest Ultrasonic was founded by Kermit Engh and Audra Gude as an extension to their restoration company. The technology that they have become experts in; to restore items from fire, water and mold losses can also benefit our Omaha community in their day-to-day lives. Ultrasonic technology can be used to clean numerous everyday household items including fabric, plastic, faux wood, blinds and shades. Ultrasonic machines use the powerful process of cavitation along with detergents to clean and sanitize items deep down inside the smallest crevices. Cavitation occurs when ultrasonic sound waves are introduced into a solution. Cavitation bubbles form rapidly and expand until they implode on themselves creating a jet-stream and heat. A human hair averages approximately 150 microns. The microscopic bubbles allow dirt, bacteria and pathogens to be eradicated from items deep down in the smallest crevices.
