Biggest blessing of owning a small business? ❤️

It’s getting to bring one of your kiddos along to help because you’re so blessed with work that one person can’t get it all done in a day.

Watching your business grow is one thing, but getting to share it with your kids and teach them the value of hard work along the way… that’s a blessing I’ll never take for granted. 🫶

People think house cleaners scrub toilets.

Sometimes… that’s the easiest part of our job.

We walk into homes where people are surviving cancer, grieving spouses, battling depression, raising children alone, caring for parents with dementia, recovering from addiction, or simply trying to make it through another day.

For some clients, we’re the only person they’ll have a real conversation with all week.

Some cry.

Some vent.

Some apologize for the mess, when the mess was never what broke my heart.

The hardest part isn’t the dirt.

It’s hearing someone’s worst day, worst year, or worst chapter… and then seeing the physical evidence of that pain throughout their home.

You leave carrying pieces of stories that were never yours.

And yet, you’d never wish they had kept them to themselves.

This profession is so much more than cleaning.

We restore homes, but sometimes we restore a little bit of hope too.

It’s a weight most people never realize we carry.

And despite how heavy it can be…

Most of us would carry it again tomorrow.
