🇺🇸 OVER 15 YEARS OF GIVING BACK 🇺🇸

From rain or shine…
From kids on the float to families lining the streets… From sponsors supporting local to thousands of FREE shirts handed out…

This has become more than a parade tradition— it has become part of our community.

Every year, Bubba’s Towing & Recovery proudly gives away every single shirt.

No leftovers.
No extras.
Just giving back to the people who support us all year long.

This year, we want to make HISTORY.

As we celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary, we are pushing for our BIGGEST shirt giveaway EVER.

And this year means even more…

Our 2026 shirts will be given away in Honor and Memory of Mike Johnston, our beloved County Clerk, whose love for this community and the people of Carter County will never be forgotten.

We are now filling sponsor spots for the BACK of the shirts.

Your business can be part of:
✔ A community tradition
✔ A massive Fourth of July giveaway
✔ Supporting locals
✔ Honoring a great man
✔ Helping us break our all-time record

We would also love to see our local elected officials become part of this year’s giveaway. What better opportunity to give back, to the community, and be part of something positive that honors the memory of Mike Johnston and celebrates the people of Carter County.

Even if you don’t want your logo on the shirt, donations to help us give away MORE shirts are always appreciated.

Spots are LIMITED and fill FAST every year.

Let’s make this the biggest one yet. 🇺🇸🔥

🚨 THIS IS ABOUT SAFETY. THIS IS ABOUT RESPECT. THIS IS ABOUT TROY. 🚨

House Bill 282 — known to many of us as Troy’s Law — has once again been assigned to the House Transportation Committee.

Last year, it never even received a vote.

This year, we are asking — respectfully, professionally, and from the heart for that to change.

Chairman John Blanton, we are asking you to allow this bill to move forward.

Let’s be very clear ⬇️

❌ This is NOT about wreck chasing
❌ This is NOT about abusing emergency lighting
❌ This is NOT about driving around with blue lights

✅ This is about rear-facing blue lights ONLY
✅ Used ONLY while stopped
✅ At an accident scene or while loading a vehicle on the shoulder inches away from moving traffic .

Not while driving.‼️
Not while responding.‼️
Not while traveling to a call.‼️

Only when we are already parked — exposed — inches from live traffic, trying to do our jobs and make it home alive.

Distracted driving is out of control.
Phones. Screens. Speed. Impatience.

Every layer of visibility matters.

This bill costs taxpayers NOTHING. 0%
No grants. No funding. No budget impact.

We are simply asking for permission to add a couple of blue lights alongside amber lights to help drivers slow down and move over.

That small change could save a life.

Troy didn’t get that chance.

He was killed doing his job.
Killed for no reason.
And there was no justice for his death.

We don’t care what the bill is called.
Call it anything you want.

But everyone in the blue-collar towing industry will know why it passed.

Because of Troy.

We are not “highway janitors.”
We are not disposable.

We are the ones you call at 2:00 a.m.
The ones you call during rush hour on New Circle Road.
The ones keeping Kentucky moving when everything else has stopped.

💢We work.
💢We vote.
💢We pay taxes.
💢We do our part.

This bill reflects today’s reality, not the roads of 30 years ago.

This is a real plea from real people who are tired of funerals in our industry .

👉 PLEASE CALL. PLEASE SHARE. PLEASE SPEAK UP. ☎️ 1-800-372-7181

Ask the House Transportation Committee to support HB 282 and allow it to be voted on.

Let Troy’s death mean something.
This matters.
