Grand Ribbon Cutting at Royal Auto Care

Does the inside of your car demand a spa day? Can’t seem to get the rock salt and mud out from the brutal winter? Need your paint polished? Look no further. Royal Auto Care, located at 1651 Olean Portville Rd. in Olean will give your car the “royal” treatment!
“We’ll get [your car] looking as close to new as we can!” says co-owner, Thayuni Marks.
Marks, along with his co-owner Blake Aderman, their family and friends, and the Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce, hosted a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, March 30 at noon to officially usher Royal Auto Care into the business community.
Representatives from the Chamber, the Assemblyman’s office, the Senator’s office, and the Congressman’s office, said a few words and presented the business with proclamations.
“You could say we give the “royal” treatment to all our members,” jokes Shavonne Henderson, President of the Chamber Board. “We are honored to be a part of this special day.”
Royal Auto Care was born from Marks and Aderman’s devotion to their own cars.
“We had a passion for cars,” says Marks. “We decided, why don’t we start a business with this?”
The two are high school friends, who bonded over being “car guys.” After customizing their own cars and joining a car club together, they wanted to take it to the next level.
“We really started out of [Aderman]’s garage, on the side, just doing some cleanings on the weekend,” muses Marks. “Once we realized we were doing a good job and getting good reviews, we said, “Why don’t we take it even higher?”
Royal Auto Care is a professional detailing business, with services ranging from basic interior and exterior cleaning to full details like carpet shampooing, paint polishing and correcting, interior and exterior protection, and headlight restoration.
Marks and Aderman run Royal Auto Care on the side, still working their full-time jobs. In the future, they hope to expand the business, not just hours, but services. Additional services in the future could include window tints, ceramic coating, wrap, paint protection film, and more.
