Not everyone can afford to spend 15k+ on paint and body work for a proper show car finish. Thats why people often go the DIY route. I hope these help anyone wanting to DIY their own cars. Knowledge is power folks, use it to your advantage!

Just wanted to say before anyone tries to correct us, that if you are trying to fill an area 3/8 in. Or deeper. This is not the method recommended.

-(Metal panels) Metal work is required to bring the panel closer to the original shape before adding body filler.

-(fiberglass panels) fiberglass work may be suggested fiberglass doesnt get dented as easy as metal if at all, but if adding too much filler attempting to repair fiberglass may be counterintuitive as it can weigh down the piece and not actually fix issues like cracks

We pay attention to the smallest details, so the owner of the car doesnt have to. Panel gaps and flush fitment isnt always just re arranging a couple body panels until they fit. Sometimes you have to re sculpt the entire area to make an appropriate clean look. Looking much better but still a long ways to go before its up to ikigai’s standards.

Things like this is one of many reasons why our customers have no stress or doubts about their vehicle when leaving it with us. I would say Ed Do has been getting good sleep for the past week with his car at our shop. But realistically speaking we know he is on that demon time just like us 😈

The smallest details can make the biggest difference. Stefan wanted his cage to be dark grey and the rest of the interior silver green pearl, that way it compliments the exterior two tone in a very subtle manner.

Carefully thought out ideas like these are the ones we love. Most people wont even bat an eye, but folks that are a bit more detail oriented will definitely get excited eyeballing a build like this.

Last night, stefan got to come by to see the progress on his car. Its fair to say that he was blown away by it. This car was given a whole new lease on life. Im glad it was brought to us as a hail mary to give this passion project the love it truly deserved! Now time to get the final touches done to it to truly make it pop.
