5 Easy Steps to Remove an Oil Stain From Epoxy Floor
1. Soak up the excess oil
Start by lightly dabbing the stain with a towel or paper towels. The goal is to remove as much of the thick, excess oil as possible before you begin cleaning.
2. Warm up some water
Heat a pot of water on the stove. You don't want it boiling, but you want it nice and hot. Warm water can help loosen and break down the oil when combined with soap.
3. Add Dawn dish soap
As the water gets hot, add some Dawn dish soap to the pot and mix it together.
4. Pour, soak, and scrub
Carefully pour the warm, soapy water over the oil stain and let it sit for about 2–3 minutes. Then, use a soft-bristle brush to thoroughly scrub the area. You should start to see the oil becoming thinner and breaking apart.
5. Repeat as needed
Depending on how large or stubborn the stain is, you may need to repeat the process several times. Add more warm, soapy water and continue scrubbing until you've removed as much of the stain as possible.

Try a dedicated concrete degreaser. A quality degreaser from a hardware store like Lowe's or Home Depot can be much more effective at breaking down stubborn oil stains and may significantly speed up the process.
