Boat owners! If you wash your boat and throw some wax on it and later on that week or even the same day you run your hand down the side and it’s chalky?
Or you’re trying to admire your boat after the hard work you just put in to make it shine and when you look at, it just looks dull and cloudy?☁️ You’re probably thinking “🤔…it needs a good coat of wax”.
Well the good news is, you’re not wrong. The bad news is, you’re just a little late!
What you’re experiencing is called “Oxidation”.
Gel coat (mostly used in Marine or RV applications) is a very porous material, especially when left untreated (see pictures below) so it just grabs ahold of everything it comes in contact with, including the sun! ☀️
Once it becomes oxidized, the only way to bring that shine back is to remove the oxidation and cut down to fresh gel coat underneath by using an abrasive material like sand paper and/or a cutting compound and sometimes that can not only be an intimidating task but also take a lot of time that you might not have! That’s where we come in!
This boat was washed, buffed, polished and coated with a 2-year ceramic coating that will not only seal and protect the gel coat but will also cut the maintenance time in half, leaving the owner with a clean, shiny vessel after every wash!
Give us a call and let’s give your investment the attention it deserves so that you can spend more time with your family on the water 🌊 and less time with the water hose! 🔫
Hey, as always I hope y’all have a wonderful day!
Thank you and God Bless! 🇺🇸
